That’s true and LilBoy1221 is right
There’s also another option:
Use a single file (.RAW)
I just posted a tut on that

Agree, this was pretty useless.
Also, just use Photomatix, Qtpgui (or what ever
) is not what you want as a photographer..crappy workflow :S
If interested, I started doing tutorials
My HDRI tut can be found on my channel

Eh..
That’s exactly what HDR is..
But the point was to offer different methods for when you have either
-already taken a photograph, or
-when having moving objects in your shot
A single raw file contains more dynamic range data than a jpeg or two, but if you combine multiple raws you get something even better
and stick out of ass please MikeyMann. it’s a joke.
cuz it’s a 4chan thing, moron. what’s it to you?
does it fuckin matter u nobhead? lol great tut init
you retouch the HDR image usings masks and layer in photoshop afterwards with one of the 3 exposures that you take.. so you kind of do a little DRI with the HDR at the end to make it really good..
stuckincustoms has a good tutorial for HDR for beginners
a canon? lame
it would look ghostly, in most cases unpleasant,
in some interesting.
same thing imposes problems with people hdr portraits or any dynamic scenes. also many cameras don’t do braketing with flash.
the title is way too loud and they don’t really show anything but what most people who had tried it already know. no secrets, not even a single workflow with pleasing results.
too bad
04:36 did he actually say “the internets”?
*headdesk*
I’m no expert, but I would recommend that you manually take seperate exposures ensuring that one captures midtones, one capturing the highlights and one capturing shadows. =)
Photomatix and Dynamic photo hdr are the best softwares for HDR photography
Another thing I do all the time is shoot in RAW, it helps in the long run.
You’ll end up with what we call “ghosting” in your final image. Photomatix has an option to reduce ghosting, or you can mask your image in Photoshop, not sure how it’s done though :/
what i dont get is this, for example. your taking a picture of a tree in autumn blowing in the wind and there are leaves blowing off. you take your pictures in the 3 differant exposures, but, the branches on the trees are in differant postions. when you produce the HDR image wouldnt there be multiple branches. thanks.

did you try what you said? i am interested to know the results
you need to go into the menu and turn on AEB set it to whatever you need to use, it will let you take 3 pictures in a row
Thanks for the introduction to HDR
“We’re talking Mescaline not Acid here people!” – is a very true statement.
How can I set the auto exposures in Canon 50D ?
I’m still learnin about the HDR and your video helped me a lot !
I tried HDR in Photoshop CS3 and you can adjust the picture a lot with curves.
Works really nice
Hehe…He couden’t answer the EV question
EV = Exposure Value
It’s obvious that this guy doesn’t know much about photography. But nice tutorial though.
