Ok just so set this straight… you can light paint with any (D)SLR Camera Pretty much anything from nikon or canon is capable of light painting.. most regulard digital cameras even have the ability for long shutter speeds (example: I had a Casio Exlim, and even though it didn’t have a manual shutter speed setting, it had a 10 second time delay and fireworks mode, (which just leaves the shutter open [depending on the time it stays open depends on your camera])

I don’t have a bulb option when changing my shutter speed…..it goes from NR30″ to 1,000.
