How can you begin my career in Professional Photography?
My father as well as you have been wanting to begin a commercial operation in a veteran photography margin for a little time now, as well as you hold you need to get starting as well as squeeze a longhorn by a horns! What you need to know is how to begin this business. How to get the commercial operation permit as well as how to advertise. How most to charge?
I have already finished weddings, baby as well as graduation as well as landscape photography as side jobs.

If you’d like, check out my website. I have a price list on there that is VERY competetive. Of course, this is going to vary, depending on where you are located. I wanted to keep my prices low until I got better established. I use Nations Photo Lab, an online based processing center for all of my printing and my price is elevated by about 400% on most things and still cheaper than anyone else. Also, I started out doing on-location shoots. I do weddings and family portraits and do not operate out of a studio. This allowed me to just focus on building a reputation and gathering all the equipment that I need, rather than taking a risk on a huge investment at this time. So far, I have been moderately sucessful with this. You definitely need a website, first and foremost, because people will always ask if you have one because they want to see examples of your work. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Just a word about prices. Pricing and licensing your work is the base of your entire business. Determine what your work is worth and set prices accordingly. If you don’t end up with a figure at or above the average prices in your market you don’t value your work enough to compete.
