I think if both types are kept in a safe environment and not exposed to direclt light, tobbacco, dirt, and moisture, they should hold up just fine.

But one needs to keep in mind that oils take long to dry, and so they can initially absorb contaminants that may affect the deterioration of the painting later on, and acrylics are unproven over 100s of years simply because they have not been around that long.

How do expect this to be answered? Acrylics have only been around for a fraction of the time oils have.

I bet acrylic turns into powder in 2 or 3,000 years. Id go with oils.

well i would say acrylics… coz acrylics dont allow fungul formation… more than framing good quality varnish is very important to preserve the painting for ages..

It’s hard to say, oil paintings last hundreds of years in some cases and degrade in a matter of decades, it depends on the quality of the paint and how the paintings were treated were as acrylic paints haven’t been around long enough to really stand the test of time.

if you tyake care of your work they will both last the same amount of time. oils will not fade as quickly though get some picture frames with a very snug fitting glass and plastic wrap and wrap tightly and then neither medium will succumb to fading or other damaging effects
