The reason is that what you’ve said is dead wrong and you don’t have the intellectual integrity to admit it.
@Blackfish100
- there’s a reason I stopped bothering to answer your comments.
Once again, you haven’t a clue what you are talking about. Brian Eno is utilizing a generative program in which he inputs data which is then reverberated at various intervals to create a randomized sequence where no two elements are ever shown simultaneously. Its basically visual Frippertronics, the system he used to create generative music back in the 70s. The system does not utilize evolutionary theory at all because generative systems dont evolve, they are static.
Are you sure your sister discontinued using logic? Because it sounds like you are the one not using logic. You clearly cannot answer to criticism, something I’m sure you would decry of religious believers. You also make various false claims about reality and don’t bother to prove them or provide evidence. Are you sure your not a theist HypnoPants?
@Blackfish100
- *sigh* May his Noodliness slime upon you.
rAmen
Yeah, you get proven wrong and instead of being man enough to admit it you claim it was ‘just sarcasm’. BTW, none of your previous statements can be interpreted as being sarcastic. I guess sarcasm is yet another thing you know nothing about.
I like how evolutionary theory is once again being used in simulation software… It works! … and yes, why do so many still deny evolution working at all?
@Blackfish100
- ah I see, you were taking my sarcasm literally
calm down, you’re going so overboard one would assume you are a theist.
(also sarcasm)
‘nor can you claim they weren’t…’ I never did, that would be a negative proof fallacy. You made a positive claim however so you need to prove it or not make it at all.
Savants do have mental retardation, but again, you obviously know nothing about that ether since their logical capacity is actually enhanced by their condition and is in no way lost.
As quoted by you: he’s creativity meets logic and reason… something most Theists have yet to do. BS, creativity includes logic.
@Blackfish100
- I could say the same about you quite easily, but again… I can’t truly claim that artists were mentally retarded in ancient times… nor can you claim they weren’t… but many great artists in modern times are mentally retarded, such as sevaunts. Someone who has lost their capacity for logic, doubles their creativity
I never said that living a creative life lacks logic or reason, I think you just went a little too emotional about it because I mention oh-so-precious religion.
You claimed that living a creative life was contrary to logic and reason when the opposite is true.
You claimed that ancient artists were mentally retarded and that living a creative life lacks logic and reason. Both those claims are complete bullshit and you know it. And now you are raising a red herring to cover your ass. Man up and ether answer my questions or admit to being a fucking idiot with a chip on his shoulder about religion.
@Blackfish100
- really though, you’re rather over-reacting from a comment that really said nothing wrong about brian eno… why are you getting so worked up over it?
@Blackfish100
- exactly, that’s what I said >.> I was praising brian eno for his logic and reason…
Yes, in some cultures art has been heavily influenced by religion, god etc…so?
Were it not for some artists divine inspiration we wouldn’t have some of the greatest works of art we have today such as the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
But that isn’t to say that all art has been influenced by theism. A lot of it isn’t.
Also, logic and reason are integral parts of the creative process. Without logic to order creative ideas and reason to comprehend them, creativity would not exist.
Interesting, have you found any ‘anti-evolutionists’ here? Ancient people were theistic in general. As for the mental retardation, please explain how you are able diagnose dead people? How do you know the IQ of ancient artists was below 70, and what two limitations in adaptive behavior they exhibited and were apparent in them before the age of 18?
If anyone is screwing over science Hypno, its you, by throwing medical terms around whilst knowing jack shit about them.

@Blackfish100
- bah, I suppose I’m just busy fighting off all those anti-evolutionists trying to screw over science…
That, and my sister is an artist, used to use logic, and then became a theist… I ended up doing deep research into the history or art and came to the conclusion that the vast majority of ancient artists were either very theistic, mentally retarded, or both.
This video may not have anything theistic about it, but the history of art sure does.
Wow. You anti-theists will appear anywhere won’t you? Seriously, what compelled you to come to a video about an art work of all things just to muck spread? This video doesn’t have anything to do with faith, theism, or anything remotely god-related. It’s no surprise you’ve already gotten a WTF response. If anything’s retarded Hypno, it’s you.
LMFAO
You even LOL in an envious manner.
LOL
Look buddy, you’re a snob – why don’t you just admit it? I’m happy to admit that you’re a snob. Art is for those who enjoy it. Why don’t you just admit you’re a snob, and you don’t like Eno’s art and be done with it? No, you are of the ilk that must denigrate the artist and those who enjoy their art – like pompous fans of ‘indie’ rock who jettison their band du jour when then start writing better songs and end up with hit records. *L* So stupid…
Now your just embarrassing yourself son.
Actually, young snob, you illustrated your pomposity, arrogance, and jealousy. As I said, if you had a career one-tenth as successful as Mr. Eno, with fans around the world who appreciated whatever it is YOU do, you wouldn’t be so negative. The gall of someone as inexperienced as you – I bet you voted for Obama. *L*
Thanks for making my point so beautifully. Cheers
